What I know: I believe i can record audio using the interface but i can barely ear it when I play after recorded and the sound comes from the computer (and it looks pretty weird with noises and too much distorted). I'm going to leave a couple of screens because I have no idea wat might be causing this.ītw, I'm running on a 64bit windows 7 premium. Somehow I think I'm missing a driver or something.but i checked and I only had one cd that came with the interface and it had only cubase le5 (I also checked online and found nothing on the Alesis website). ![]() ![]() rar achive due to 3MB limit max file size. Problem is that I can't find a way to configure the interface! Download Alesis io2 English service manual for Alesis io2 USB audio interface, includes schematics. But try this: go to device setup>generic low latency audio driver(or whatever it is - it should be under vst audio system)>than click control panel and uncheck the 'Allow ASIO host application to take exclusive control of selected port configuration' box. Now I bought a new laptop and instaled the new cubase le5 that came with the interface as well as the guitar rig I had before. When I bought the interface I actually went to the store with my old laptop to get everything instaled and set up, it would have been a pain if I was to figure out to configure both cubase and guitar rig all on my own. I used to have it in an older laptop and used guitar rig 4 and cubase sx just fine. ![]() ![]() Greetings everyone, i bought an Alesis IO2 express a couple of months ago and it was great ^.^
